Parked at start of track at NT098468. Solo. I walked back down the road a short distance and then went westwards on another track. Initially this went through wooded area. I climbed up steeply on the west side of an old quarry to reach the summit of White Hill. There is a cairn at the obvious summit. There were good views. Weather was sunny and dry. Continued to Black Mount and later in the day went up Broomy Law.
