8/19/23: Day 2 of MEW Backpack with Paul from our Rosedale Saddle Camp. Left the truck at Camp Rock CG and biked to the Lost Creek TH the day before. From camp we hugged the talus field around Rosedale due SW up to East Pegmatite at 11,800 and gained the ridge. We proceeded to hit all three scramble groups on the way (the final grouping clearly the most difficult with several technical options-we were only successful with the final one). West Pegmatite has minimal options and is primarily just a walk up. Obviously the best front porch views of the Massif along the way. Return via Roosevelt Lakes (a couple of nice camp options) and Beartrack Lakes Trls. (9.4/2710)
