We got to Moraine Lake parking lot just after 7 and the lot was already full. We were able to park legally, and in a good spot, not far from the parking lot. The approach trail had a dusting of snow and was very busy with people heading up to Larch Valley. We left the herd behind the moment we turned off for Eiffel Lake. The trail was good and we were able to oversee the valley. From Eiffel Lake we turned to the slopes. The first slope was steep and had snow. The second slope was a bit trickier as there was anywhere from 6 to 12 inches of snow over the boulder field. The last part to the summit had yet even a little more snow. Some of the snow was supportive, some not. There were no views at the summit as I think it snowed before we got to Eiffel Lake and didn't stop.
