Took a new route up to Lee Peak....directly up from the top of the chairlift at Ski Lee. There was a lot of route finding to be able to get up the multiple cliff bands on that side of the mountain. There were class 5 climbs that were extra challenging because of the crumbly Charleston limestone. Definitely need to do this route again to see if it can be improved. From Lee we summit Rocketship. After that the next peak was Wallace Canyon Pahrump Overlook which involved a little route finding, but not too bad. We left Rocketship, down the west side, until we could get below the cliff bands that surround the peak on the south, west and north. Once below the cliff bands we found the ridge line that runs directly down to Wallace Canyon Pahrump Overlook. The exit was a simple, level traverse over to the Lee ridge line and down what would be known as the "standard" route. Not a bad route at all. It's a keeper!
