I had been part of the way here before to check out a plane crash in Wallace Canyon that has since been removed. We started at the Upper Bristlecone Trailhead and followed that trail to the lesser 'No-Name Trail'. I was planning to veer off of that trail and go cross-country to the saddle at the top of Wallace Canyon, but to my surprise, I saw another faint path leading in the correct direction right where I was planning to turn. We followed it and it went right up to the saddle! From there, we side-hilled our way around to the overlook, occasionally finding faint game trails to follow. The overlook isn't obvious until you get there, but those views are fantastic! We took roughly the same way back.
