A great all-around day hike. The trail is well-graded and passes through some great groves of cacti at the beginning, steepens considerably when it begins heading up to the saddle, and then from the saddle to the summit is an exciting but not overly exposed Class 3 scramble up a narrow rocky chute. Overall rating 8/10, a very fun climb for anyone who loves a bit of rock climbing and a definite bucket-list climb for any hikers who live around Wickenburg.
