This was a very hot hike.
We were approached by a soldier armed with an AR-15 at the summit. He asked how many were in our group and how long we planned to stay, then let us pass. On the way back we climbed Cerro el Campanario, which the locals call Cerro Chino.
Did I mention it was hot?
