Paid $5 (credit card machine) entrance fee. Plenty of parking by trailhead. Hiked steep blue trail to yellow trail to steep red trail to peak of Vineyard Mountain. Came down other side of red trail (almost as steep) to yellow trail (more moderate) to parking. Had to bushwhack around yellow jackets nesting at base of trees along yellow trail. At one point I followed a deer trail until it came back close to the yellow trail. No views through all the leaves, so this may be better in winter.
