I went out to my favorite playground to camp, hike & paint for a couple of nights. Scouted some routes for longer days in the spring & wound up climbing this pretty peak near my camp. I was camped on an old mining road back off the Bitter Spring Byway Road. Started out crossing through pretty, colorful hills & made my way through cliff bands up to the ridge. The last couple hundred feet up & across the ridge were rocky & narrow. The weather was gorgeous & I enjoyed the hike up this one very much. Views over White Basin & the valley between the Longwell Ridges were very nice. This peak could also be more easily approached from that valley with no cliff bands to work through to gain the ridge. Excellent trip & just what I needed!
