Solo hike up Jarrard Gap Trail, a well-maintained but gated gravel road, to the Appalachian Trail to Turkey Stamp and back. On the way out did a light bushwhack over Gaddis Mountain with a good winter view to the southeast from the subpeak and a good winter view of Slaughter Mountain coming down from the peak, but Blood Mountain was hidden by Turkey Stamp. Turkey Stamp was a moderate bushwhack and had good winter views of both Blood and Slaughter Mountains from the peak. My GPS/GPX track shows where I went around a thick grove of young, short trees that would be a heavy bushwhack. Coming back over Gaddis Mountain, I found a corner forest property stake at Jarrard Gap.
