After crossing the stream (we ended up just taking off our shoes and crossing; it's very narrow and shallow water), we bushwacked a ways which lead us to the first steep scramble (foreshadowing?!) up to the exploration road. From here, walked until we got to the first fork in the road (about 2.5 km), and veered straight up from here. There is no path once you leave the road, it's a free scramble up. I recommend hugging the ridge, but it's all tricky the entire way up. Once you hit the sea of boulders, it doesn't end until the summit. It's a good 2-2.5 scramble up the ridge, prepare to sweat!
The views from the summit are jaw-dropping. Easily one of my favourite summits in the Yukon thus far. After a couple summit beers, we decided to cut to cut time by surface the very steep face of the mountain. I don't recommend doing this, it's landslide pathway. Be careful!
Beauty day, 30 degree sunshine.
