From the car park on the A44, east along the bridleway, then cutting north to Highgate Hill then eastish again to the trig point on The Smatcher. Then back down to bridleway, up to farm building, climb up Castle Hill then joining footpath again back to parking. Good panoramic views. Quite a bit of livestock, including obstinate cows (it took the mention of horseradish sauce to really get them moving).
