Drove up from Vegas to complete the Las Vegas Mountaineers Club 50 Classic Peaks list with Amber this weekend. We were sitting at 48/50. All we needed was North Schell & South Schell. Started up the gully west of the peak and followed it up to the ridge, which we took to North Schell. 1 more to go! We traversed ridge over Middle Schell, Uinta Peak, Taft Peak and Peak 11535, then finally ascended South Schell to complete the list. Success!! We had a champagne toast at the summit, then made the quick descent down the SW slope to Berry Creek, where we had a shuttle vehicle waiting. Excellent day with wonderful people from the LVMC club!
