I took a rough road not quite two miles long off the Kane Springs Road & camped a couple of nights up there on the edge of the Wilderness. What a pretty area! I hiked up through rolling ridges to reach the mountain. It's volcanic, so very steep & loose. I took different routes up & down, both very steep!

I HATE driving on two lane highways, (93 & 95) but am glad I forced myself to go. Hope to get back some day too.
