Hiked Trail 100 from the Dreamy Draw parking lot for about a mile or so, to the point where 100 comes over a rise and turns to the west. The trail to the peak starts at this bend and heads roughly south along the ridge. The trail is a bit rough in spots, with a mix of dirt, scree and rock, but the elevation gain is pretty gradual, until the last 100 yards or so and then it goes up pretty steeply to a saddle of sorts and then up again to the top. This last part of the trail is steep enough that some people may want to use there hands and can be a bit sketchy for some. But, as usual, the views from the top are great - Piestewa peak in to the south east and North Mountain and Shaw Butte to the west. Completed the trip in about an hour and a half, including 5 or 10 minutes spent at the top. Next Veterans Peaks!
