Cloudy start, set off from Blughaasery, n of Ullapool, to go up this peak and Ben Mor Coigach. Walked up to Loch Eader dha Bheinn, then forded a deep stream before going up steeply onto a plateau area under the East ridge of the peak. Here we walked easily up big slabs, wondering how steep the east ridge would be. However it was easier than it looked, although care had to be taken, with the blustery wind on the sharp edges. From the summit, we traversed along the ridge to Ben Mor Coigach, enjoying good sea views to the summer islands and of the surrounding peaks.
