After summiting Newman Peak, and the point in between, we made our way to S. Newman. We had to down climb a section of the ridge before the final saddle, but it wasn't too bad. There was a snake on the saddle, in some rocks and branches, but we couldn't tell if it was a rattler. South Newman had the best views of the day.
