8/13/23: From Revenue Mtn. Last summit of an amazing day above Peru Creek. Some of the most spectacular mountain scenery from G&T and Ruby Mtn, down into Horseshoe Basin, along the Divide and over to Square Top and down Shelf Lake. Finishing with clear views of the future route over Santa Fe and Geneva Peaks. We made out like bandits on the weather but paid our dues getting suckered into Brittle Silver Gulch on the way down back to camp. I guess we should have been warned by the name “Brittle”!
