Went out to Death Valley for a few days to hike & paint. The weather was unusual! On this day it rained all morning. I decided to go up this one around 11am. It was drizzling most of the time, but it was so pretty. Low clouds were swirling all around & temps were in the 40s. This peak has a lot of bang for the buck! It's really colorful & pretty & is a fairly easy climb. It had a faint footpath in places, but there are many possible routes. It was loose in some places, but not too bad at all. There was some class 2 scrambling up top. The summit is split in two & I went up both sides for the different views. This adds a little bit of extra scrambling.
