With Gerry Akroyd (guide) and Glen Hopkins. We left the car at the Glen Brittle side of Bealach a’ Mhaim track. Jumped over Allt Coir’ a’ Mhadaidh and walked into Coire a’ Mhadaidh on the righthand side. We crossed to the other side of the coire and climbed up to col SE of Sgurr an Fheadain and on to the summit of Sgurr an Fheadain. We proceeded along the ridge towards Bidein Druim nan Ramh. Then we descended into Coir’ a’ Tairneilear and descended the righthand side of the coire to get back to the car. There was new soft snow in the coires and above – starting to get hard high up. It snowed on and off.
