From Green River Golf Course in Corona, I parked at the north edge of the lot. I walked about 100 feet down the road leading to the railroad tracks. I bypassed the locked vehicle gate and crossed the tracks to reach the Scully Ridge Trailhead on the other side. The Scully Ridge gate was a much friendlier gate which indicated that it was on state park property. Scully Hill stands tall right behind where the wide dirt roadway begins climbing toward it. Hiking is rather straightforward where I followed the road to a point where it began passing Scully Hill. A use trail leaves the road from there and continues to the prominent perch that is clearly visible from the 91 Freeway. The use trail is an overgrown semi-bushwhack, but it is also a short venture to the peak. After reaching the top, I took a different use trail back to the Scully Ridge Trail and simply returned to the Golf Course. Visit #3 to Scully Hill, the last visit was 14 years ago!
