Figured I would take advantage of a lull in the storms and head up to McKenzie Pass before they close off the highway for winter. Hiked in from Scott Lake via Benson Lake. Great hike with lots of large trees and small ponds and lakes to provide plenty of resting points. Ended up hiking through 6" of fresh snow on the top but it was expected. Amazing views of Three Fingered Jack and Mt Jefferson lined up together.
