After a half day of work I headed down to Mt Beacon park to visit the summits of Scofield Ridge North and Scofield Ridge to close out the month of May. Since I was in the neighborhood I also tagged South and North Beacon. While I was at the DAR monument on North Beacon a generator kicked on for the tower right there. First time I had that experience. The temperature rose to nearly 80 with humidity and the bugs were out so it was a sweat fest with swatting. Could have used some nice breeze. Flowers on the blueberry bushes are out, looking forward to some free snacks next month.
