Main purpose was geocaching from Richmond Hill to Marsden Valley. A cloudy showery day to start with improving as the day progressed. After arriving at the top of Richmond Hill I geocached my way along the Barnicoat walkway until the forestry road neared the ridge line close to Saxton Hill. Followed a firebreak then fence line to the top. View had improved from that on Richmond Hill. Route off was a bush bash down to the next cache at the forestry intersection.
