"Camped overnight in a pullout near the Frenchman River about 1.5hr SE. Made the drive over through asphalt, then gravel, then dirt roads. I drove a Hyundai Kona and my friend in his Toyota Sienna. We were both fine on the roads and felt comfortable with our vehicles. If you want to reach the real high point you’ll need to clamber over a short barbed wire fence — beware of cattle. Rain and fog clouded our view, but was well worth the effort." — J_graves5 • Aug 29, 2025
"Been interested in the Canadian Provincial High Points challenge for a while so figured might as well get the first one in since I was in the area. The sign has been removed unfortunately so not too much around to take a photo with, but we didn't see anyone in the area so cool experience! My buddies Kia Soul had no issue on the gravel roads, and if you go west a bit there are some great views South into Montana. " — snowsurfer • Sep 9, 2022
"Enroute out east to my parent's place on Lake Superior. It was about a 2 hour addition through Cypress Hills Prov Park to our 19 hr drive from Calgary to Thunder Bay.
I drove my Subaru Outback but the road was really very good just a dusty dirt road through some beautiful scenery." — alexjoseph • Aug 18, 2013
