Parked at the Northville Placid Trail parking area on Rte 8. Started on the trail for about 0.25 then started bushwhacking towards Rogers Mtn. Then over to Poplar Mtn, and finally over to Buckhorn Mtn. I joined back up with the NPT about 1.5 miles down the trail near Buckhorn Lake.
