Day tripped it from Kelly Creek car park via Carroll hut, Kelly Saddle, Kelly Hill and then a traverse of the Bald Range. It would have been good to descend by the track to the Taipo valley but because of vehicle logistics I returned much the same way but without climbing Kelly Hill a second time. It was a hot summers day!
