Leading a party for Waymark Holidays (11 members of the party). From Rifugio Città di Chivasso. We climbed the WNW ridge (Costa di Mentà) to reach the summit of Punta Violetta. We continued to Colle di Ferauda and Colle di Puntà Fourà. 7, including me, ascended the north ridge of Punta Fourà until a large cairn was reached – the traditional summit (3410m) of Punta Fourà. The final stretch up to the true summit (3411m) involves rock climbing so was not attempted. We descended the north ridge and returned to Rifugio Città di Chivasso.
