This hike started from the Ahwinga Trail. I climbed up the trail through the forest at the bottom of the canyon and climbed up the ridge, which was very nice because of the meadows and views. After a while I reached the summit of Whittier Hill. The summit had a water tank and nice views , but the clouds make the views less nice. Then I went along the ridge, which had nice views and a long section of forest. Then, after a while of hiking up switchbacks, I reached Nike Hill. It was the best peak in the Puente Hills by far, because of the expansive views towards the mountains and downtown LA. After that, I went down the Native Oak trail, which from a nearby hill, had amazing views. Then I descended the trail, which had some many beautiful grassy sections. Then I ascended the trail, which also had massive meadows.
