On a Waymark Holidays trip led by Tony Rogers. Two of us had thought of climbing Cortés, but the weather did not seem good, there being mist on the summits and fresh snow. However, the weather was good later in the day, so perhaps we could have made it. We left Refugio Odriozola at 10:30, all together, and had an easy day in the eastern part of Picos de Europa. We walked to Collado de Camara and then over Pico del Corvo, Pico de la Canal Arenosa, Pico del Joracón de la Miel and Pico del Buey, ending up through woods down to the village of Espinama. We stayed overnight at Hostel Puenta Deva. So that was the end of the climbing on a good trip.
