Spain and France border. When the fog clears we see the lakes Ibón de Lapazosa and Lac des Espécières from Soum Blanc des Espécières. We know this peak is in between them. We go down and back up again to the top. We can't find the path and scramble down to the left which is hard on the knees. It's been a though day so far and we look forward to a softdrink in the hut. Unfortunately we pass a sign saying that it is under construction. We climb hard and get to the most iconic mountain pass of the Pyrenees: Brecha de Roland. It resembles The Wall from Game of Thrones. The next day we cross the pass and go down into the beautiful Valle Ordesa to finish our four day trek.
