I have traveled today to the lands of Don Quixote, specifically to the village of El Pardal in the Sierra de Segura, a quiet and non-touristy place from where a geological route starts up to these two peaks that allows you to see sinkholes, geological faults, terra rossa and also magnificent forests. The late rains have filled the understory with flowers and insects, and the lavenders and other aromatic plants are in full bloom. The highest area of Peña Bolomba was damaged by a fire but on the way to Pico del Guijón the forests
they are wonderful. Some flocks graze freely in the area and have already sheared the sheep that offer a different appearance than usual.E
