On our way to Tahoe from Reno we stopped off to do a short hike to stretch the legs. Already hot even though it's only 9am. Chatted with a local hiker who was surprised to see us as most folks are on ATVs, dirt bikes or mountain bikes. Visited both summits, which are covered with radio towers and buildings, and took in the view out to the peaks north of Lake Tahoe. Still plenty of snowfields on the summits.
