After spending the night with friends in Melbourne, I drove towards Ballarat to attend the BARG Hamfest. I drove to Mount Bunninyong VK3/VC-018 and parked near the large shelter on the eastern rim and walked up to the summit. I found a spot to set up the radio gear and made5 contacts before packing up and heading to the Hamfest.
After the Hamfest, I drove to Mount Warrenheip VK3/VC-019 and walked to the trig. Found a spot nearby to set up the radio gear and made 7 contacts. I again packed up and headed around to Peak 882 m VK3/VC-032 to set up in a clearing just off the peak and made 9 contacts. I then packed up and headed south to the Western Highway and then headed home.
