The hike begins at the same parking area for Mt Akawie. Instead of taking the dirt road behind the gate, I just went straight up the gully that comes down to the parking area. It is a cross country climb, where I stuck to the ridge on the way up. On top are clusters of boulders, with one boulder in particular being larger and thus marking the high point. On the way down, I veered off my established route and worked my way down to the dirt road before walking back to the parking area. Rather easy outing that even made the easy Mt Akawie climb look challenging.
