Jumbo Peak ! What a fun outing . The first couple miles after Whitney pockets are the worst, then it clears up quite well, especially after the townsite on the jumbo spring road . Getting to the summit blocks is uneventful(about .75 miles ~900ft up) then the fun starts . I found a crack(first picture) and started making my way up. It’s really three moves , in between the fjrst and second there was a hand line that had been pulled up but didn’t seem like it would have offered too much help anyway. There was also a pink sling at the top of the third move(third pic) , and after I got past this that was the end of doing anything tough. I never found/climbed a 5.3 face,Once at the top of that crack, you should see that triangle shaped tunnel(second pic) , and the exit & summit is right after that. Got some bonus peaks too, packard is good, jumbo springs high point is just a random spot a little bit below packard , and 5453 had three similar summit blocks the same height that were all similar size. No register found. Jumbo is a very fun peak, although this isn’t even the best peak nearby!
