This a status report on the Road to the traditional parking for Moapa (starts off Carp-Elgin exit 100 on i-15). The beginning 5-6 miles are pretty good, then there is a stretch of about 2 miles, after the dirt road starts to turn NE, where there are numerous small washouts. HC recommended, all can be driven across slowly with an 8.5" clearance vehicle. This may not be the easiest way up 5421; if you could be guarantied the road N from Logandale exit is open, you could likely make a class 2 slog from SW.
