I climb to Cieza Castle with some friends using the Manolo Dato route that winds along the bottom of a dry river bed. Yesterday it rained and as we walk we leave our footprints in the sandy earth. The castle hill is rockier and steeper so the path is poorly defined which forces us to climb more attentively having to use our hands on the climbs.
At the top we had a small lunch enjoying the view of the city and the river that surrounds it. Many fruit trees are in full bloom and these days people from other regions of Spain come to Cieza to enjoy nature.
