Parked at the corner of Buffalo & Starr. Hiked across the desert and ascended locally named Tierod Canyon to a point NW of Tim Benchmark. Tierod Canyon is a difficult 4x4 trail with some difficult dry falls (for vehicles). We descended down to the saddle & bagged Peak 3909 too, before going back to Tim BM. Took a different way down for a change of scenery and to get some geocaches. It is getting a little too warm for these!
