Revisiting Hellhole Canyon Preserve after a 20 year absence. Nothing much has changed (which is a good thing). Inclement weather accompanied me on the hike, where I took two long breaks to wait for the rain to subside. The hike became a muddy encounter after that, but not enough to deter me from reaching the top or completing the loop. Peak 2913 sits below Overlook 1, but since the slopes were loose due to the mud, I didn’t attempt it. I’ll let the next adventurous hiker claim it.
