14 mile round trip hike from Skyline Drive Trailhead in Corona. Had to leave the main trail and hike up the mountain bike trail to summit Peak 2694 only to see a big snake sunning himself (he had kind of a bulge halfway down his length, so I think he was happily digesting too!). Then onto Main Divide to Peak 3020 and the weather radar station and finally to Mine II Benchmark. Then back to discover my car had been broken into... shattered glass near by so I wasn't the only one hit. I've since seen reports on other hiking sites that this area is extremely prone to break-ins. Obviously the last time I hike here...
