Walked the Goldsborough - Callaghans track again. Looked for the highest point on this smallish ridge top plateau whilst en-route but there is no distinct high point.
The area is vegetated with big trees on the slopes and edges but most of the plateau has somewhat stunted or smaller diameter vegetation partly due to wetness and because the silver pine component was logged back in the late C19th. There is a lot of moss, umbrella fern and wispy silver pine in the vicinity. Gold miners constructed shallow dams to store rain water on these flat ridge tops to use to sluice for gold lower down the slopes.
