Hiked Benton MacKaye Trail a short way after it left Forest Service Road 22-2, then moderate bushwhack past a property corner stake up the ridge to Peak 2887 ft. None of my maps correctly show where BMT leaves the road and crosses the gap, so I followed BMT to the gap to show on the GPS/GPX track. I think this is the last BMT road crossing in Georgia before crossing into Tennessee, but there are side trails farther up 22-2 that connect to the BMT at Dally Gap.
