Rod and I drove from Nimmitabel out to Paupong Nature Reserve and up to the summit of Peak 1261 m, AKA VK2/SM-065 Box Ridge. Activated the summit with me making 16 contacts. packed up and drove around to the northern side of Jillamatong Hill. Parked at aprivate house, the owner of which is known to Rod & who had confirmed access permission. Walked to the top of Jillamotong Hill VK2/SM-064, set up and activated the summit with 6 contacts. Packed up and returned to the car. Drove to Jindabyne and out to the Distillery and up to Peak 1460 m AKA VK2/SM-053. Walked to teh summit and set up the gear, making 5 contacts. Returned to the car and headed back to Jindabyne, then drove north. Drove up to a farm house which Rod had arranged access and through the paddocks towards the summit of Wattle Hill VK2/SM-063. Walked up to the summit and set up the gear, making 7 contacts. packed up and returned to the car, and travelled around to Mount Cobrabald VK2/SM-051. Walked to the summit and set up the gear, making 23 contacts before closing and packing up. Returned to teh car and returned to the main road, then drove around to another property which Rod had arranged access. Drove along some farm tracks and then walked up to the trig at the summit of Queengallery, known i n SOTA as Trig TS3825 VK2/SM-057. Set up the gear and made 8 contacts. It had been a busy day! We packed up and made our way back to teh main road and headed back to Nimmitabel.
