I headed out to Licola and up the Jameson Licola Road to Mount Skene VK3/VE-031. I walked across to the trig. I found a spot to set up the radio gear and made 39 contacts. I packed up and returned to the car and drove back towards Licola, but only to Lazarini Spur Track,parking near a corner with lots of space below the summit. I picked my way up the hill to the summit of Peak 1204 m, VK3/VE-091. I found a spot to set up and made 5 contacts. I packed up and returned to the car and headed back towards Licola, this time stopping below Mt Shillinglaw at the junction with the Alpine Walking Track. I walked south on the AWT to reach the summit of Mount Shillinglaw VK3/VE-068. I again found a spot and set up the radio gear and made 17 contacts before packing up and returning to the car. I then drove back to Licola and on to home.
