Out on the first day of winter doing what we love ending with one of the best sunsets I have ever seen in the ADK hiking these two of three mountains that make up the Santanoni range, although we had to abort Santanoni because of pure exhaustion and light of day concidering the shortest day of the year, we did manage to climb w46er Couchsachraga, a grueling long hike then a quick hike up w46er Panther peak then back out, a four hour slog to the car.
