Day hike from Glacier Lodge. We had two “young guns” with us to carry the ropes; one of the benefits of being older. I did this in poor form because I did not tag Mt Jepson while I was there, but I had the worst altitude sickness. I guess I’ve spent too much time in the low lands as of late. While we brought ropes, we didn’t use them once. We found the ridge traverse to be the most difficult part of the climb due to the large amount of objective hazard. No fish in Elinor Lake. This will be my last major hike until my daughter is born in late November.
