Hiked via Raymond Trail. The parking lot only has three spaces. If that is full there is another park with a lot a little further down Old Mountain Rd. I ran the trail with my golden retriever in 66 minutes for a 3.5 mile round trip. We took time to stop at the pools made by a mountain stream to cool off and enjoyed the view from the top until we realized that as soon as you stop the bugs get bad. Fairly clear but could not see Boston. The Park does charge through-hikers who enter the park so be prepared to deposit $4 per adult at the top. Leash laws are strictly enforced at the top so make sure to have your leash with you. There is a challenging rock section near the top for those with small dogs and children or for those who are not accustomed to strenuous activity. Great hike. Happy to summit another fire-tower.
