流石面白い山(笑）。Hiked the Omoshiro-yama (better: Kita-omoshiro-yama) today. This mountain surely is interesting. The first 2/3 of the hike is super easy, the last 1/3 becomes very very steep. Normally I think it is still in the medium range, but today was a bit wet and muddy due to rain from yesterday, so this route suddenly becomes a bit more difficult during the descent. But overall, it wasn’t that bad. The summit has really nice views on the surroundings and since this is a very mountainous area (it is Yamagata prefecture after all) the views are quite nice. I also saw a snake and some interesting insects on the trail.
