I thought I'd join the party with these other two hikers! I went up the Boy Scout red-blazed trail to Neville Peak on my way up. Nice views from there. It took a while to finally find the fireplace (outhouse still there?) after being sidetracked by the false summit areas. Some previous hikers have set up cairns near the summit to guide people. It appears that the fireplace area is not the true summit, as I found a couple of higher areas nearby. And although I looked all around, I could not locate a sign-in register for this Rockingham County High Point. Returned down the other end of the Neville Ridge Trail and followed Tarleton road back.
